4 compositions
Rule of thirds
Imagine that your image is divided into 9 equal segments by 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines. The most important elements in your scene should be placed along these lines, or at the points where they intersect.
Balance
Objects in an image have ‘weight’. This might be dictated by size, brightness or colour. Two objects can balance each other out even though they might be different to each other.
Layers
Overlapping where you deliberately partially
obscure one object with another.
obscure one object with another.
Triangle
This geometric shape is a good way of grouping elements of an image and organising them so they suggest stability. If you want to create an unstable feeling in a photograph then objects can be grouped into an upside down triangle.

www: I managed to finish the task, I was able to find the 4 compesitions.
ebi: I had spent more time on this task and not left it until the last minute.

FRAMING
using mirrors
In this task I was required to frame the environment in a mirror.
This was my attempt

My best photo
www: I edited this photo really well brought out the colours more by increasing the saturation.
ebi: I found it hard to focus both the background and the mirror at the same time because of depth of field.

In this task i was required to to take pictures of finger frames.
You need to describe depth if field here. What is it? How do you achieve a shallow and extensive depth of field.
you get depth of field by changing the aperture for every picture you take but you focus on the same thing e.g. finger frame and let the background blur out the lower the aperture
Weebly Glitch- all the finger frame work has been replaced by recent work.
these were my best 3 pictures showing the different aperture. The finger frame example is EXCELLENT!
www: i managed to capture different depths of field
ebi: I found it hard to focus the had because it was moving but I did improve over time. If I used a tripod it would have been easier to capture an image in focus on slower shutter speeds.

FORMAL ELEMENTS
In this task was required to take photos of formal elements. The Formal Elements are the language of picture making.
There are traditionally seven but are sometimes extended in photography to more. I am focussing on the seven basic elements:
Line, Tone, Contrast, Colour, Pattern, Texture and Form

Line, Tone, Contrast, Colour, Pattern, Texture and Form
www: I was able to find appropriate compositions for five of the formal elements.
ebi: i took more of the same types so like 3 line pictures 3 colour pictures .etc.
windows
In this task took pictures of reflections in the window.
www: I was able to use the depth of field well enough to . Why is it brilliant?
ebi: I had taken more pictures.
Your www and ebi should be more about technique.

It would be great if you could edit your best images. The reflection in the car works particularly well.
Workshop 1
I like exploring refections because you can make a really surreal photo. I might explore this style of photo later as I like how it works. EBI if I had changed the exposure to help the colours.
Independent Development
Rodney GrahamRodney Graham Canadian. Graham, an artist from Vancouver who works in a variety of mediums, built a giant pinhole camera and parked it in front of twelve different trees for one month in 1979. The public was invited to enter the camera to view the luminous image of the tree cast upside-down on the camera's back wall.

I like Rodney Graham because I like taking pictures of the environment and nature.
Response:
Close Up & Far Away
In this task I had to photograph a wide shot and detail of the same location.
My Best Photos are...
I edited this pair of photos with a colour strip between the images to remind the viewer that we are looking at a picture. Even though it looks real, it is a flat, 2D image of the world around us.
